Q : Why do I need to register with  Twitter / Facebook account to ask a question ?

A: Twitter and Facebook are used by most of the users. Using them makes your profile more credible and keeps the spam out of our network.

Q : Are you storing my password if I use my Twitter / Facebook  Account to register with you ?

A : No and we will never do.

Q : How do I know somebody replied to the questions which I asked ?

A: Make sure you have correct Email Address in your profile field. So in order to get an email notification for questions you ask please update your profile by choosing Edit Profile link on right hand side bar.

In case of registration using Facebook, Email is required. This is to make sure you have the notification when somebody replies you.

Q : I have files to share when I ask you a question. Where can I upload them ?

A : As of now we do not allow members to upload any files or images. However there are lot of free services which you can use. One of the most common is Dropbox where you can create public link of any files you want to share. Just add the link in the comment.

Q : What should be the first thing after I register here ?

A : Ask us a question or make a search. However there are few more things you can do :

• Update your email id so that you can notification when somebody replies. As of now we put a random fake email id.
• Update your Nickename to a better sounding name if you do not like the current one.
• Once you update the email id, you can register with gravatar so that a good looking image is displayed right next to your question. Use the same email id at both places.
