If you have a computer running Windows 7 or Server 2008 R2 you might have seen system crashes when using hard disk over 2 Tera bytes. Microsoft has released a hot fix for this and the problem was the hard disk were becoming tootal currupted which includes data loss.This issue also occurs when the operating system enters into hibernation and generates a Hiberfile.sys file that is at a disk offset greater than the 2 terabyte disk offset of the hard disk drive. If the corrupted volumes include the system partition, you cannot start the computer
